Ismaries Designs
Jules and Ismarie put a blog together about their experiences with our last photoshoot and what it means to be rabbit hearted girls:
One of the things I've learned from Curtis boosted my creativity in designing my clothes. Drawing my ideas on paper before I use scissors to shape the fabric into the style desired helped me realize that it's the best way to save my ideas when I get inspired at times.

My inspiration behind these outfits comes from my Haitian cultural background, where a lot of people get inspired through art, creating useful and beautiful things out of anything that's useless for others; Like creating beads out of cereal boxes to makes jewelry, that's where I got my idea of using an unfamiliar and colorful fabric to design something attractively beautiful. Projecting the old-school style Haitians use to dress up; but designed in a more sophisticated way.
I chose these fabrics because they remind me of how colorful Haiti is. The fabrics also have a little African style which is the root of where the people of Haiti came from, explained in Haitian history. I believe that they all have a little of African in their genes.
