Sunday Poetry: Continental Decide
The continental divide
where the mountains and skies
touch each other
Where the spine of the Rockies are
and all the rivers on the other side flow westward
you and that big bright blue blazer both from 78
agreed to put our trust in her
grateful when She drove up peaks
passed tin cups through inclement weather
traced glaciers
you were certain
She made it
all
the
way
down
with
out
fault
to sleep at the home you built
under the stars.
