Wedding Planning is stressful. There are a million details and dozens of people looking to you to answer their questions and meet their expectations. Also in this same time frame you are still expected to live your daily life, meet deadlines and pay bills. Meanwhile you are feeling all the fullness of being so in love and falling in love all over again. It’s an incredibly transformative time in a relationship and it proves to you how well you both hold it down together.
Brittney and Lore would have won the gold medal in the wedding Olympics.
Every surprise that popped up I watched as they handled it together with grace and support.
At the end of the day your wedding is a celebration of your love and that's what's most important.
It was an incredible honor to document this time in their lives from their engagement session to their wedding, I felt lucky to witness a small piece of their story. While talking with their friends during their reception every single person mentioned how obvious it was that they belonged together – so much actually, that it induced envy from all of us at our table.
As I sat on a plane, flying home from Mexico, their reception and first look stayed etched in my brain. How stunning Brittney is, how her laugh makes everyone around her feel included in a secret. The look of complete calm and peace that came across her face the moment she answered her phone and heard Lore's voice telling her he was ready for their first look. I opened my laptop to cull their photos and I hoped the canoodaling couple sitting next to me didn’t notice what a crying fool I was pouring over their images remembering all the little moments.
When love surrounds you everybody feels it.
