Gregory Family 2022
As ephemeral as our footprints were in the sand along the river, so also were those moments of childhood caught in the photographs. And so will be our family itself, our marriage, the children who enriched it, and the love that has carried us through so much. All this will be gone. What we hope will remain are these pictures telling our brief story, but what will last, beyond all of it, is the place.

I have fallen in love with this family and my heart gets all the feels when I get to photograph them.
In 2017 we made photos in their home and at the Joliet Public Library.
Amanda wrote a blog for us that went with their photos:

On my last trip to Chicago I got to hang out with the Gregory Family at their home in Joliet and we made photos again.
Seeing the time pass in how tall Maggie is now, how the treehouse was decommissioned and the kitchen was being remodeled made me look at the swing set with a little more appreciation for how short childhood really is. It is such a joy to watch this family grow through photos and I am beside myself some days at the way photography has created these bonds with people who mean so much to me ❤️
